Kites!

We took a short drive out to Allen Banks this afternoon. It's a National Trust site and is very pretty, particularly on such a lovely autumn day as today. I took lots of photos that I really liked, but on the way back we saw all these kites in the air over the village. It's the Kite Festival this weekend and it looked like a lot of fun, though we didn't have time to stop long since Grace was grouchy and in need of a nap by then (you'd think a car ride and a long walk in a pushchair would set her nodding off: not our Gracie!).
