When the cat's away - - - - -

Diesel always very thoughtfully leaves half his breakfast in the bowl. The blackbird is usually waiting impatiently close by and especially at the moment there is fierce competition for the food as you can see. I wonder if the eggs are hatched or just the adults that are ravenous. It's funny to watch as they scoff some food for themselves then take a piece and fly off with it presumably for the mate.
Down to the market this morning and the weather remains fine. This afternoon a session at the swimming baths followed by a cup of coffee to add to the feel good factor.
Sunshine and showers so no chance of the paths drying out just yet. A relaxing evening ahead, a bit more work on the tapestry, a spot of Corrie and an early night to continue reading my current book.
