Après le Déluge

A frustrating day chasing the paper needed for an Indian visa. Not for the first time it seems it is going to be a close run thing to get it processed before I'm due to fly - I never did discover the magic trick that would have allowed me into Saudi.

I think I'm going to be in London for the next few days, so hopefully a bit of street photography is on the cards.

I only got outside once today, and that was a hurried walk by the river with the dogs. The Avon is slowly receding;only a couple of days ago I would have been knee deep in water taking this shot from the footpath.

Its funny what you don't notice. For instance look at the bottom righthand corner. Its clear from that shadow that Huckleberry Hound was stood beside me, but I didn't notice a 6ft tall blue dog at the time.
