After the gala

Kitty and Gigi had a gala at Prestonpans and they both came home with medals. Kitty won a gold for the 100m butterfly, taking six seconds off her personal best. She made the final of the 100m freestyle, coming fourth and also swam in the 100m breaststroke and the relay. As there were only three people in her team, she had to swim twice but they still came second.
Gigi meanwhile won gold for freestyle and the relay and although she won the breaststroke as well, wasn't given the gold medal because her time was too quick for this graded meet. It was a huge effort by them both. It was a huge effort for Harvie to spend all afternoon hanging out at the swimming pool too, so it was pizza all round when they got back.
