Hoffman Kiln, Llanymynech

This is the inside of a Hoffman Kiln which has been preserved at Llanymynech on the Shropshire/Welsh border. This link explains what it is far better than I can, i do know it is one of only 3 remaining in Britain and the only one with a chimney.

I did want to upload a full size one to my Blipfolio but is it just me or does that just take forever, I gave up after 45 minutes. So this is a bigger version of the original 1000 pixel one, I do think the image works better larger.

Wow, 500 already, that came around quick. Seems only a couple of days ago I was deciding whether to carry on with Blip after completing my year, purchasing a years membership stiffened the resolve somewhat and now here we are at 500.

I have to say I am enjoying the second year more than the first. I am trying to take most of my Blips outside, be more experimental and generally try and plan a bit better so I am not running around at 11pm and whilst I would be gutted if I did miss a day it somehow does not seem so important now. Whether I make it to the 1000 I don't know, I shall certainly try for 2 years/731 now.
