these are my salad days...

i need those pillows! and that mattress! we both had a 3-starred sleep at the Waterside Inn, and then breakfast in bed.....how special did we feel! a lazy Monday morning get up for both of us. Rain outside though, and after we'd checked out we planned on visiting Windsor, but tbh, the rain put us off - was chucking it down.

so, instead we drove to Eton. must've been break time as lots of posh boys changing lessons (and not meeting each other at the trough, as we used to at kimbo!). still absolutely throwing it down so we started the journey home, listening to the themes of James Bond! (having been On Her Majesty's Secret Service it seemed appropriate!).

home, unpacked and managed an hour or so at 49. bit of sanding down radiators and painting. then did food shopping. after our 'astronomical gastronominal' weekend (as mum put it), i need to diet big time! 8 weeks before hol and either i diet, or i resign myself to being lampooned on the beach d'alcudia! so, my friends diet sheet to hand, it's fish and greens, and salad and green tea all the way! no alcohol, no bread, no rice or pasta...no fun really!.....here goes!
