Where is Mother Goose?

I borrowed this photo of three Canada Goose eggs on a tree stump in the McKenzie Bog in Aurora. She posted a trio of turtles instead of these eggs which are much better than my photos today. There are a dozen or two such stumps in the bog for critters to rest and nest. It was warm and sunny today but it doesn't seem right that the eggs are exposed.
