Besties For Life

For my parent's anniversary this year, I decided to make their gift. I wracked my brain as to what would be relevant yet not quite so cliche (hearts and cake were out of the question). It took a while to decide, but I finally made a decision (luckily I started early rather than leave it to the last minute) and went with a pair of origami penguins. For those of you who don't know, penguins mate for life (and unlike the Gibbons Monkey, Black Vulture, and a few other odd creatures, penguins are considered somewhat cute by the general public). I quickly got to work, and this was the final product. The symbol represents "Blessing", "Happiness", and "Good Fortune" in Chinese.
