Misty Sunlight

Mist filled sunlight
In a rain soaked dawn
Dewdrops glisten
In the watery morn

Trees shake branches
On unsuspecting foe
As rivulet streams
Perform a glistening show

Umbrellas bravely defend
Their owner's coiffure
Desperation pervading
Their desire to allure

Heels tapping wetly
Into office cave dungeon
Entrapped labours dissolve
Into thoughts of noon luncheon

Dawn's rain dissolves
Into vacant bare streets
And mist into sunight
Gently retreats
