Caldicot Castle

Yesterday evening I eventually managed to persuade the wife to put up our Christmas tree. She's not a fan of the festive period and prefers to be away whereas I prefer going before or after.

Whether the effort of this tired us I don't know, but we were both asleep well before midnight and seemed to wake together about 9.15am. She is on afternoon shifts so we can have a lay in watching day time tv with a cuppa.

After making her sandwich box as normal, when she left for work I was free to go take some photo's. The blip one is of Caldicot Castle, about 25 minutes drive from the house. It is an aerial image and you can see the Second Severn Crossing as well as a good view around the castle park.
