Sediments

We're down in East Lothian at guests of friends in a fantastic house on an estate run primarily as a couple of golf courses but has quite a few residences for rent. After having breakfast cooked for us and it being a bit chilly for golf we headed along the beach for a brisk walk to get over Breakie and work up an appetite for dinner. I came across this piece of rock with many layers, I wonder where it was to get so many differing sediments in its creation
