This morning's find

I do not know what this is. At first I thought it was a bracket fungus, but now I find from "confusing fall fungi" that sometimes what appear to be bracket fungi do, in fact, have gills. So I shall have to go back tomorrow and look underneath. They are very firmly attached to the fallen branch and it was not easy to see underneath. I need to decide what sort of wood it is on also. I shall report later!!!

I think I shall like the new website. Haven't used it much yet though.
