Weir on River Ericht

I had to go into Blairgowrie for some bits and pieces this afternoon, so took a short walk along the banks of the River Ericht.  It was bitterly cold down here, although not so cold in the town itself.  Maybe all that water rushing by creates its own micro-climate?
