bucks life

Oh David!

I did a ton of useful shopping yesterday evening: a six foot realistic but fake Christmas tree, two TV wall mounts and aerial leads for the tellies due to arrive on Friday, some gorgeous red cherry lights for the tree, a new lamp and a pretty cushion to finish off the new look in the spare room, all ready now for when the boys arrive.. and a partridge in a pear tree!

I had a great time putting the new tree together in front of Missing and getting some decorations up around the house. It really has started to feel Christmassy at home now. Yippee :))

Today I worked out of MK til 12 then drove to Woburn Abbey to the beautiful Sculpture Gallery (see naughty blip made naughtier by some dodgy lighting!) for the Christmas lunch for a ladies networking group I attend from time to time. We had a lovely meal. I sat next to some very nice women and the magician was fabulous. No matter how much I watched him I couldn't see how he did any of the tricks. Amazing. I'm so lucky that I get to do that sort of thing as part of my job.

I treated myself to a beautiful snuggly pink alpaca pashmina on my way out and then bombed across two counties to see the head shrink. I had a good session and then bombed all the way back home again.

Tonight I finished the decorations and invited some old friends to a reunion next June as well as supervising some more pictures going up.
