Tokyo

From a dizzying 350m in the sky, the urban sprawl of Tokyo looks unreal and the tilt shift effect gave me that sense I was looking for. We actually went higher, to 450m in the Tokyo Skytree, the world's tallest tower (it reaches 634m!). After that we had lunch at a shabu shabu restaurant that has been in existence for over 100 years, and wandered around the Sensoji temple complex, possibly the oldest in Tokyo. A day of contrasts, the uber modern to the old and traditional.

I haven't seen enough of the relaunched blip but I have to say I miss the grey already. That was much easier on the eyes for prolonged looking at photos.
