Doctor Who & Dr. Ho.

Today we had to go to MD Anderson Cancer Center to pick up a wreath.  Texann has previously blipped that MD Anderson employees made holiday wreaths which were then auctioned off to support families in need. There were 235 wreaths in total.

Our friend D. very generously bid on the Doctor Who themed one in my honour and today we got to collect it. It took pride of place on our front door and here it is in situ.  Maybe our house will now be bigger inside than outside.  I may also be able to travel back in time to the old blipfoto on occasion.

The trip was very productive because I help administer an Esophageal Cancer support group on Facebook and one of the subscribers was diagnosed almost a year and a half after me, but has the same doctor (Dr. Ho).  M. was in for chemo today with his wife B. and we got to meet them in person as well.
