Truck has been scrapped

2nd time that that someone has backed into my truck.  1st they dented my truck (5+ yrs ago).  This time they just scrapped my truck.  Probably when backing an overloaded truck from across the street and just can not figure out how to stop once making contact or how to inform us or apologize. Don't know how much it will cost or how long it will take to repair but to keep from losing scarce parking in front of my house I will have to rent a vehicle to park out front or loss parking for a month maybe longer because someone with multiple vehicles will just take possession  of the parking & rotate one of his many vehicles into the parking in front of the house.
