The junior band started practicing less than three months ago, most of them playing their instrument for the first time ever when they started. Tonight they played six pieces and their band teacher was all smiles.

In addition to the junior band, the school has a senior band, a jazz band and a choir - and this is just an average elementary school. I'm always impressed by the extra-curricular music programs our school district provides.
