The New Zealand Wood Pigeon or Kererū

Barely managed to snap this shot very quickly in low light conditions without my speedlite. Took a few more then went off to get my flash. Well the bird had gone. The upside is this Nikua is right outside my sons bedroom window so hopefully I will be able to capture some better images.
