Long shadows

Erin, Fergus and I walking in the low sun this morning. We cast long shadows, just as all our actions are not just of the moment and ourselves, but cast long shadows over others and their lives. Shadows can shade us from seeing properly or conversely can shade out the glare and enable us to see the way better.
