Watching and Waiting
Today Blaine received his mock GCSE results, He did really well and managed 4 x A*, 5 x A, 1 x C. Fingers crossed his real results next May will be just as good, if not better.
Blaine's girlfriend visited after her interview at Cambridge University, her Dad kindly offered to drive up to us so that they could spend a few hours together, before they headed off home further South. So they went out for coffee and cake to catch up for a few hours.
Had a phone-call from a Dispensing Practitioner Nurse this evening, saying my GP had received a letter from the Cardiologist advising I should go on Statins - I'm horrified and trying not to have a panic attack, I've been on Statins before and they do NOT agree with me, so asked if it could be put on hold until after Christmas especially as I've also just started BP meds and my body is struggling to adjust to those, so she agreed and made a note that I've to phone her in the New Year. Surely, there is an alternative to Statins?
Mum visited for coffee, Lola was expecting Alfie to come around too, so that he could play with her, but Mum didn't bring him this time, so here she's wondering what's going on and where Alfie could be.
