Fisherman's Friend

The Twitter friend I met on Tuesday is not only an author, but he is also an artist (with a great sense of humour). This is one of the paintings that I have purchased from him. He is from Cornwall originally and this painting depicts one of the old fishermen he remembers seeing as a child. Although I have to say it looks a lot like him!
His name is Stevyn Colgan and he is also a public speaker and a Qi 'Elf'. It is his job to research and write the questions and answers that Stephen Fry reads out on Qi - a job that he loves doing and one that he does so well.
Steve was also a Policeman in the Met for over 30 years and he is currently writing a book called 'Why Did the Policeman Cross the Road?' based on his experiences. If you're interested you can find more details and perhaps even pledge to help fund its publication HERE.
