Lower Orchard and Marsh - Ten of Twelve

This is ten of twelve in a series to show the changes over the year. It shows some flooding to the garden as well as where the grass has not yet been mowed; this still has standing water on it.

I had to go to a meeting in the Regional Office in Cambridge this morning, fortunately I allowed extra time, it took fifty minutes from the park and ride, a journey which usually takes about twenty minutes. This was due to construction work at the junction of Station Road with Hills Road, so three-way traffic lights.

We have had a mixture of weather today, some heavy rain, some peas sized pieces of hail, which I was out in, with high winds at the same time, which blew my umbrella inside out and broke the spokes. Coming home on the park and ride bus I thought the wind was blowing the blossom off the trees; it was actually snowing for about thirty seconds! We also saw the sun very briefly.

The yellow flowers from two days ago have been identified on iSpot as Yellow Corydalis (Pseudofumaria lutea).
