A Swiss Delicacy!
Each time we go to Switzerland, we always comment on how unpleasant the smell of Raclette is, especially as you walk round the Christmas markets.
Raclette is, of course, a Swiss dish that is basically heated cheese, which then entails the cook scraping off the melted part and serving it with potatoes and bread usually.
We tried it twice on this visit and it really does taste good. It was served with gerkins, pickles and new potatoes and a glass of white wine enhanced the flavour even more!
A very pleasant surprise.
