alright burd II

Second day of the APs visit and a pretty slow day. The lovely weather of yesterday wasn't quite so good but still dry and cold.

We spent the day in Winchmore Hill and finally went up to the local park with the dog for a wander just before sunset. It still amazes me how many parakeets you see in London - South London has it's fair share but also lots of foxes whereas North London is more squirrel-y with more parakeets. I think we can therefore surmise that foxes quite like a little parakeet snack from time to time. 

Anyhoo... this heron happened to be standing in the middle of the lake just goes to show what a steady-ish hand and IS can do - 200mm, f4, 1/25s!
