For those following our story, our house came down safely,  and seems to be fine on the new foundation. A few problems with levels (most of the doors wouldn't open/close - it's an old house and obviously it's a long time since it's been level) but the builders were working on those.

Today the house is being bolted to the foundation, so thank goodness we didn't get a quake last night, as it was on the foundation but not attached.

Tradies day today, so they will be finished for two weeks.

Onward to the next phase, the inside. One battle already won there to do with the native timber, so hopefully it will now go smoothly (what could possibly go wrong!)
