Elsfield Manor

Elsfield Manor near Oxford was the home of writer, politician and statesman John Buchan.

As a private property, it's not normally open to the public but in March 2012, members of the John Buchan Society were privileged to be given a tour of the house and grounds by its current owners.

It's a lovely place.
