ar*e end of nowhere

Visited one of our remote sites today, a place behind the middle of nowhere, and past the back of beyond. Nothing but power lines, not even a camel.

The site is behind me, but photography is not allowed, and gentlemen with large guns were on hand to assist.

The road speed limit is supposed to be 80km/h, but most of the cars that were around overtook me but at least 100km/h above that figure (not letting on how I can be so accurate).
