Yanaka

A very different feel in this district of Tokyo. The buildings are generally no more than 3-4 storeys tall, the lanes are so narrow that the main mode of transportation is the bicycle, a large cemetery and many shrines and temples can be found in the winding streets. There isn't the frenzy that seems to predominate in other districts of Tokyo.
