Whew, just saved!

The wean has been obsessed with Star Wars Lego (especially the mini-figures) for what seems like forever. He reassembles the tableau below nearly every day in the sittingroom, repositioning the actors on his Planet Lego stage, while the TV babbles on. 

My own mini-figures used to be micro-mini Airfix soldiers. I never bothered to paint them, as you were supposed to. Instead, me and my mates would involve them in various unsoldierly activities, such as mountaineering, scaling the tall old granite wall in the schoolyard. We invented a much-repeated exclamation, 'Whew! Just saved!', as the little men kept losing their footing and (almost) tumbling to their doom.
