La Marche Des Rois Mages - OLD CAROL 2

Yesterday's old carol put me in the mood for a mini-series.   This one is Provençal and dates from the 13th century.

Quite justifiably I was taken to task for not providing a translation.   So here goes:

"This morning I met the train of three great Kings on their travels.  Laden with gold, they were accompanied by great warriors and treasure guards, great warriors with their shields."

And this is what it sounds like - set to an adaptation, by Georges Bizet, of a tune that is even older than the words.

La Marche des Rois Mages

I think that the children's choir singing this is great!
