Brave Girl!
So I was just about to have my lunch today, when the phone rang. It was school telling me that someone had stood on Amy's hand in the playground (she had been sitting down on the floor and a Year 6 boy jumped back on it apparently). It was cut and they felt it needed to be seen by someone. Really?! ... I thought, it's only a cut. But how right they were! Couldn't really look at it when I first saw it. Basically the cut isn't the problem, it's the nail that when touched moves around!!
As such tomorrow morning, I have to take Amy to St Georges in Tooting for a cosmetic surgeon to remove her nail, clean everything up and then attach it back, so that the new nail can grow properly underneath! Amy is being very brave and is quite excited about "being put to sleep!" I on the other hand will be pleased when it's over!
Who'd have thought today would bring this!
