Canyon Explorers

On an ice canyon tour of Maligne Canyon we stumbled upon these crazy Frenchies scaling a tower of ice. 

Rock climbing not enough for you? Rock walls too safe and not nearly slippery enough? Then we have just the thing for you! Ice climbing! USing pick axes and screw scale giant pillars of ice with only your buddies weight stopping a hideous fall. 

I might be cynical about things involving heights. The canyon tour was amazing though. We walked on the frozen river and went behind a frozen waterfall. Also got to watch a guy attempt to get his dog to jump down from a snow ledge it was stuck on. Dog was nopeing for a solid 20 minutes.
