The King's Road, Chelsea....

We began with a Cosmopolitan Breakfast in Partridges, still being served at 12.30 pm; toast with scrambled egg and smoked salmon, butter, jam and marmalade, tea and coffee. Very nice too.

What a fantastic shop this is and we enjoyed a good browse and made a few purchases too.

Then a walk to Chelsea market and back down to a look round Peter Jones before heading back to Victoria and home. A successful day on several fronts!

Tonight we have the log fire lit for the first time this year and it is looking and smelling wonderful.
