Its That Bird Again

Eurasian Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis)


Yes, it seems to have made the decision to settle down and now fishes regularly in the same spot.
This time it was showing off its brilliant cyan back to me but I'm still having problems with bright sunlight burning out some of the plumage. It was cloudy when I left home but the sun came out as soon as I arrived. I'll try again next week on a less sunny day.

I also had a go at capturing it diving but I only managed a blur as it left the water.
