Serious request 2014

Serious Request is a happening where 3 deejays are locked into a glass house for six days, ending the enclosure on Christmas Eve. While they're in there people donate money to hear certain songs. The broadcasts are nation wide, 24/7 on radio, several hours a day on TV. Goal is to collect as much as possible money for a different theme every year. See this article on Wikipedia:

This year's theme is: Hands off our girls. For women and girls who had/have to endure sexual harassment in conflict and war areas in the world.

Throughout the country people do their own events to raise money for this national event. In my hometown we have our own little glass house for two days, as I noticed by chance when I was in town tonight.

The national glass house started yesterday, they have already raised 1.125.000 euro.
