Sub-adult flamingo

The greater flamingo (Phoenicopterus roses) flying in Fuente de Piedra, Andalucia, Spain.


This lake is a home lake for about 20.000 pairs of flamingos. The lake is big but very shallow, all the flamingos just stood in the middle of the lake very far away.


On this same lake and on the fields around the lake we saw thousands of cranes, they are wintering here.
