Through the archway...

A lunchtime stroll through the pavilion gardens to meet Chrissy for a lunch time catch up over a glass of wine.  Its been a lovely day, and I never tire of the wonderful architecture.

My journey home from work was less than pleasurable though - the buses were severely delayed and some cancelled due to traffic congestion.  The first bus didn't stop as it was already full, but I managed to get on the second and was lucky to find a seat.

The lady next to me had so many bags of shopping but she moved them onto her lap so I could sit down.  Which was more than can be said for a man on the other side who had about 3 small shopping bags on a seat while people were standing.  Anyway, one woman asked him if she could sit down and he pointed to his bags and wouldn't move.  At that point I said that there are lots of people needing seats and said that the lady next to me had far more shopping than he did.  He looked over, picked his bags up and moved up so the lady could sit down, and she gave me a smile.

The journey was awful, there was a traffic jam all the way from Rottingdean back down to the Marina so it was a very slow journey!

Mum's not feeling very well today, she's full of a cold and a sore throat, so I've put the winter duvet on her bed for her and got her some lemsip to dose her up - fingers crossed Alan and I don't catch it just in time for Christmas!

Anyway, it's Friday night - have a great weekend!
