Should Auld acquaintance be Forgot

A dreadful, dreadful thing has happened. 

A company, who run a business implemented changes to it's product. 

When Unilever do it, they simply rebrand and in bright coloured letters write "Better than Before", or "New Improved Formula" .  This always annoys me, because I think, why was I buying it before if it wasn't already a great product? How can it be better than it was. 

When Facebook make changes - (typically to accommodate the information requests of the CIA) - everyone moans, and groans and complains, but do they stop using it, nope. 

When I was little, I had a Snoopy Diary, and then a Winnie the Pooh Diary.  I've had a Simon's Cat Diary, I have had two filofax, then I had Blipfoto. 

For five years (Almost) I have kept my diary every day - I have a record of my wedding day (back blip), birth of Second Child (back Blip) children Learning to Drive, children passing exams, children leaving School, Children leaving home. Deaths, marriages.  

I love it.  I love interacting with other Blippers. I don't interact with Loads, of them, but I have my friends.  I'm not about the pictures, I'm about the stories.   Occasionally I do take a good photo, but it's usually inspired by something I've thought about. 

The changes in Blip might not be to everyone's taste, I'm still trying to find my feet, with the new buttons and stuff.    It upsets me when I see people complaining and moaning, that it's not the "old" Blip.  No, it's not, it;s the new improved Blip.  

Just because it's different, doesn't mean it's wrong.

and because of that, I had a plate of Ritz Crackers and Cheese.
