Dark days

It's getting near to the shortest day of the year and it's cold and miserable and I didn't leave the house until it was time to go to the ice rink for curling - I know what better place to go on a freezing, cold day. Last club game of this session so we went for a meal where the company was cheerful.  
These yellow roses are also fading so decided on a mono shot to hide the blemishes.
