When the Moon Hits Your Eye . . .
Ever since late last night I had a craving for some good pizza. In my books, there are two key components to what I consider a good pizza: 1. the crust, and 2. the sauce. Mess with either of those and you have, to put it mildly, a recipe for disaster (and culinary disappointment). Get those two components just right, and typically everything else falls into place.
Though the flavors of tonight's pie were not quite the same as that of a pizza hailing from the region of our country known as The Pizza Belt {pizza belt, Def: the area of the United States where the chance of obtaining an adequate-to-good slice of pizza from a randomly chosen pizzeria is greater than 50 percent} the Pulled Pork with Arugula pie that we shared tonight was simply delectable - light, crisp crust and flavorful sauce - and together with the refreshing cocktails, more than satisfied my pizza pie craving.
Now, I'm ready for some dessert!
