WEA Edinburgh Branch Centenary Tablecloth

Workers' Educational Association Edinburgh Branch, Riddle's Court, Lawnmarket, Edinburgh, Scotland. Hand embroidered by women attending WEA Stitching Times Workshop Group from October 2011 to April 2012 to mark the Centenary, 1912-2012, of the branch. Design inspired by the 19th Century ceiling on 2nd floor, commissioned by Patrick Geddes in the 1890s.
