The assignment I gave myself is complete

So it's time for a slight change,  introducing my Compact Camera, which I shall also be using as well as the Moto G phone camera, so that at last I shall have Zoom and other resources I have denied myself for the last 365 days.
It has been fun relying on just the basic lens and a few built in apps, but a change will be welcome, so the name for the site from tomorrow will be Oldgroaners Phone and compact Camera.
(Mind you I've rather got into the habit of using the phone, so it's not going to stop being used!)

The Painting by the way is one I did yesterday of Autumn on the Shore of Derwentwater, in water based oils on canvas.
