Every Picture Tells A Story!

Ok so its not the best blip - too busy and the lighting's not great. That said today I've been busy clearing out wardrobes. We're having fitted wardrobes built in on Monday and this was my chance to have a clear out, get rid of a lot of stuff and be prepared. I tidied out lots of things but these are special little treasures.

As I dug deeper in the wardrobes I came across one hat after another - it struct me that they told a tale or two:-

* Tilley Hat from our Canadian Honeymoon which was lost on the flight between Heathrow and Edinburgh and returned to us the following day.

*Russian Naval hat from St Peterburgh acquired during our cruise of the Baltic Captials - LargoLad wore it on the way home and I didn't bat an eye. A chap on the coach said to his wife "see he's got one" !

* Caribbean skip cap which I acquired free when I bought a Cocktail of the Day on the Island Star ship and lovely it was too!

*Saltire hat given to LargoLad by a friend who knows he's a scotsman through and through.

* Madeira hat - bought on holiday when we were absolutely freezing.

* Christmas chef hat bought for LargoLad to help him with the Christmas Dinner.

* Chefs hat worn by LargoLad when he bakes his bread.

* Witches hat worn for our neighbours daughter's birthday party on Halloween.

* Various sun hats, rain hats, walking hats, gardening hats, cricket hats, golf caps etc etc etc.

Everyone a treasure, everyone a memory and everyone going back into the new wardrobes to be worn as and when required!
