Concert (III)

Not the William Blake beloved of the WI and Monty Python. This version comes from the collection known as the "Wexford Carols". The piece is heterophonic, where each singer performs a variation on a main theme.

For the performance, as each singer started their own distinct melody, they started to move around the church - which gives a very eerie effect on it's own - until the two main singers stood at opposite ends of the aisle. 

Fortunately, this meant one was standing rigid beside me.
