This is what we've come to

Here you see our "his & her" reading glasses.  I had a chuckle over dinner tonight as I realized Mr M and I were both reading (he the newspaper, me a magazine) and were both decked out in our reading glasses.  We have several pairs scattered around the house - always at the ready.

I attempted a new recipe for cocount cookies tonight and realized at the last minute I didn't have sweetened condensed milk, only evaporated milk.  I looked on the internet to see if there was a possible substitution, and there was, so I tried that.  When I took the cookies out of the oven they were a disaster.  I ended up scraping them off the tray.  Tomorrow I will get the correct milk and try again.
