Aylesbury's New Landmark
This morning I decided to go and photograph the new controversial landmark that has been erected almost without anyone knowing it was going to happen,
I first spotted it going up a couple of weeks ago when I was in the Chiltern Hills looking down on Aylesbury. I had no idea what it was though I had my suspicions.
Anyhow it was a lovely morning to go turbine hunting & when I got home I googled it to see what I could find out. Apparently it is the tallest wind turbine in the UK, a full 25 metres higher than other on shore wind turbines.
I also drove along the new link road that links the A41 to the A413.
Blue skies & powerful clouds the shot was asking to be "shopped" so here it is in beautiful mono too.
Ho hum, must do some serious wrapping this pm.
Carol still not right, but did get up this morning, though she is back in bed this afternoon
