Grey or white?

I have been reading some of the comments about the re design of the website and it's interesting how much comment there is about the white background and how quite a few people dislike it intensely.  I would imagine the team at blip central are feeling a bit battered at the moment by the barrage of comments and complaints.  One of my favourite photographers is Michael Kenna and his website features a white background, and since his work is in black and white, it shows up beautifully against the white.  I do agree though with the point that if someone has an eyesight problem, and/or works with computers all day, then grey would be more restful.  Give it time.
