Stanton Drew
Went to the stone circles at Stanton Drew today; the photos of the stones did not come out very well, but this decaying old tree I thought looked good. The large circle is apparently the second largest stone circle in Britain after Avebury. I never new this part of the country had stone circles, so one learns something new every day.
The local pub is also very nice, and well worth a visit. The pub has three stones in it's garden. These stones are apparently a thousand years older than the stones in the main circles.
