The calm before the storm. 

Literally. 

Not quite sure what the wind gusts ended up being around here, but it was enough to knock out power for 12 hours and almost take down the play structure. 

Boys and I were sitting within 20 feet of a transformer that "blew" while waiting for B at school.  That was enough to keep my adrenaline going for a long time.  Yikes. 

Fun dinnertime by lantern light though. And loads of flashlights/candles in this house tonight.
